If I made 3D printed models (created in Zbrush) available to purchase in the future, would anyone be interested in ordering them?

November monthly chat

I am back deviants, and better than ever c:
I know I didn't have an October chat, but that was an insanely busy month, between separating from the Airforce, visiting family, and moving, I just didn't stop to think of writing it. But now I am settled into sunny Florida and starting my first classes Monday at Fullsail University! The past 5 years of working have finally paid off, working towards this goal every single day. Now it's time for me to get my learn on and level up.

I am gradually trying to branch into 3D modelling, as it will be a large part of my courses. I know how to use Zbrush mostly, but I know I will be exposed to Maya and 3DSMax (possibly mudbox) so that will be interesting when I won't have a tablet to sculpt with. If I ever get good enough, I'm going to open up the possibility of making and selling 3D printed figurines of my 3D models, something I just recently learned was a thing, which sounds ungodly fun, maybe even commissions in that way.

As far as gaming, my attitude is changing slightly. I don't play 8 hours a day anymore. My art has taken quite a large chunk of my time now. If I do play (recently Dragon Age Inquisition, AION, TERA) it's only for 2-3 hours or I'll just walk around and screenshot different characters and outfits I want to draw. I am still working on the 'Tactics Heroes' project, which is still in the same place development wise (just me making character concepts) so I'm going to finish up the last few characters once my classes start and I have a good idea of my schedule.

One last thing, I will be doing my quarterly gallery cleanout tonight, reducing my pictures, usually deleting a lot of stuff on the last page in my gallery, so save it if you like it!

if you are doing art right, it will always be a learning process, as in you will never be 'finished' studying a certain thing like hands lol.
